Our diversified range of talents continue to grow by following trends, improving our talents crafts by providing classes, seninars and workshops run by some of the top industry professionals today and performing at live events. Most of all, as plus size entertainers, it is very important that we make sure that our diet, health and exercise regimens are up to par so we will also have experts in health and nutrition involved in our workshops.

Aminah Cole



My name is Aminah Cole and I am the Founder and CEO of Not Your Average Talents, the Premiere Plus Size Talent Directory. I represent the taller than average and curvier than average Plus Size Models, Actors, Singers and Entertainers standing at a very proportionate 6’ feet 1” tall and a size 22. I started singing at the age of 2, dancing at the age of 3 and acting in Off-Broadway musicals by the age of 14. I attended the Talent Unlimited High School for Performing Arts in New York City starting as a Dance Major and Drama as a minor but Acting soon became my main passion so I became a Drama Major in my junior year. I have been cast in several comedy stage plays, off-Broadway musical theater and gospel plays. I am currently co-starring as “Geneva The Diva” in Tony Clomax’s Award Winning TV Series “12-Steps to Recovery” on the Black Broadcasting Network in which I am also an Associate Producer on the TV Series. I love to sing, especially ministering the gospel of the Lord so it’s no surprise that I sing with one the best choirs in NYC The Lord's Church and Family Worship Center’s Mass Choir in the Bronx, NY. All of my talents and gifts are blessings from God and I thank and praise Him everyday always for allowing me to be a blessing to others!

Grant Wilfley Casting is holding an open call for background work

for the following:

- for the 2nd season of the Golden Globe-winning HBO series Boardwalk
Empire, seeking Irish, German, Polish/Eastern European, Italian, Chinese and
African American men and women of all ages. The series is set in the 1920s.
All men must be willing to get their hair cut short. Women must have
natural-looking hair, at least shoulder-length. Must be willing to work around
smoke.

ALSO

- for the feature film NEW YEAR’S EVE, directed by Garry Marshall, seeking
New Yorkers of all types (from working class to wealthy) for various scenes.

An open casting call will be held on Monday, Feb. 7 from 10a-12:30p for
SAG and 2-4:30p for NONSAG at Metropolitan Pavilion, 110 West 19 St, NY, NY
10011.

No experience necessary. Be prepared to have a digital photo taken.
All work as background is paid.
